Well, there are SOME conspiracy theorists that STILL hold that we never REALLY landed on the moon, but instead it was just some elaborate Hollywood hoax designed to inspire a deep patriotic sense of unity among Americans. (which would be some serious marketing)

While I’ve always pretty much assumed that we DID, in fact, land on the moon, and then today, the question of whether it could have been a Hollywood special effects marketing campaign by the US Government was raised in my mind… Watch this video and you’ll understand:
