Two Suns on Earth?… CREEPING OUT customers… and How Zappos FIXED it

Ever heard of banner retargeting?

Some people say it’s creepy.

If you haven’t heard of retargeting, you may have experienced it (i’ll explain below)… and if you have, it either made you go, “WOW! how’d Ryan Deiss do that?”… or you were creeped out and started thinking about privacy and calling the ACLU. LOL.

Anyway, check this out and you’ll see why this CAN creep customers out, and how Zappos addresses it, in case you decide to give banner re-targeting a shot for your marketing campaigns:

this is one of the banner ads you may end up seeing here and there… which freaks some people out (not because the banner itself creeps people out, it’s the fact that they are on Photobucket or some other unexpected place.
