A lot of folks think that being in business for yourself means that you gather people together get them to work for you and they spend their lives working to make you, the business owner rich. Such is not the case in most instances. Given the extreme complexities of the government regulated business landscape, it has become unbelieveably difficult to run any company with over 50 employees. (ours had at peak 65). All that said it was a lonely world with such an incredible drain on my lifes energy. In retrospect however, I would not trade the experiences for anything! The employees I served became my extended family and I did everything I could to protect and serve them. Fast forward to today....and AIMEN. I was first introduced to AIMEN by the wonderful and fellow ADOS, Bryant Jones, then my attedence was strongly suggested by my friend Ricci Neer. I have not missed an AIMEN event for almost a year. This event is attended by some of the most real, genuine people I have met in my 30+ yrs in business. This group gathers each and every month, has fun, shares resources, beverages and truly helps their fellow entreprenures without condition. David and Michael, you have created the best unconditional environment for seasoned IM profesionals as well as newbies to flourish. My hat is off to you and I owe a large part of my new direction in life to AIMEN. Hey David and Michael!
