Ever wondered what exactly Mark Knopfler & Dire Straits meant when they sang “Money For Nothing… And The “Clicks?” For Free”?
Well, I may have just found an example of this in the internet marketing world...
Last weekend, I attended a world-class mastermind hosted by Josh Bezoni, with some of the world’s greatest direct response marketing, internet marketing and other business legends– Joe Sugarman, Dean Graziosi, Joe Polish, Tim Ferriss, Michael Fishman, and Marc Ostrofsky.
This event brought together about 80 of the world’s most interesting and varied backgrounds from different corners of the internet marketing spectrum. ClickBank had some “top brass” in attendance– both Neil Hartley (Director, Business Development) and Kate Wallace (Director, Client Develeopment).
This is seriously the biggest picture I could find of the handsome and charming devil: Neil Hartley, online”
Anyway, I invited these ClickBank execs out to our “party house” on Saturday night, after dinner, because they seemed really cool… plus I wanted to talk to Neil about a product and project I’m working on with Bobby Walker.
(By the way, in case you didn’t know it, Bobby’s an elite ClickBank vendor and he’s REAL proud of his certificate, be sure to ask him about it, next time you see him!).
So, Neil Hartley & I were chatting and after a few cocktails, he whispered that ClickBank is about to unveil a 2nd-tier program! Having a joint venture brokerage, myself, I was thrilled! Turns out they’re going to give out all the details at Affiliate Summit East.
This is really exciting news so I asked Neil if I could leak the info and here’s what he said:
Sure! you can “leak” this to friends and family but bear in mind that we’re still nailing the exact functionality etc…it’ll be announced in detail at ASE but, right now, I don’t know exactly when the capability will be available (it’ll be this year for sure).
Hope this is as good of news to you as it is to me! And just in case you are a newbie (or I made too big of a conversational leap) and are wondering why I call this “money for nothing”. Well, let me explain…
NOW there are just 3 easy steps to making money online (for virtually nothing):
- STEP 1: KNOW someone who has a list or a big audience online.
- STEP 2: Tell them about a great product on Clickbank by sending them your “1st tier link” (which will make them YOUR 2nd tier affiliate), and…
- STEP 3: If they decide to promote it… guess what?! You will get a percentage-based commission override on their sales!
And if that isn’t one of the best reasons to start attending internet marketing events, then I don’t know what is…
Speaking of attending internet marketing events, you can come hang out at one of our upcoming Internet Marketing Parties, and network with the wizards of the internet in one of the Meccas of Internet Marketing: Austin, TX… y’all!
PS- In case you’re wondering, our “party house” is what I call the place, where my good friend and avid Internet Marketing Party supporter, Jonathan Herbert rented for the week near the hotel where Bezoni’s event was held.
CONTEST ALERT!!! Whoever leaves the best comment below (or can prove that they promoted this blog post the farthest & widest) will win a special bonus prize (trust me it will be good, i have some juicy stuff: like a RARE video of Perry Belcher, a RARE video of Jon Benson spilling secrets of how to do Video Sales Letters that increase conversions 3X over, OR maybe even a PRIVATE invitation to sit in on a closed door mastermind with 7-figure-earners… trust me, it will be worth your time. Hey David and Michael!
I have been mostly involved in “brick n mortar” busness’s and have spent the majority of my life helping serve humanity as an employer. A lot of folks think that being in business for yourself means that you gather people together get them to work for you and they spend their lives working to make you, the business owner rich. Such is not the case in most instances. Given the extreme complexities of the government regulated business landscape, it has become unbelieveably difficult to run any company with over 50 employees. (ours had at peak 65). All that said it was a lonely world with such an incredible drain on my lifes energy. In retrospect however, I would not trade the experiences for anything! The employees I served became my extended family and I did everything I could to protect and serve them.
Fast forward to today….and AIMEN. I was first introduced to AIMEN by the wonderful and fellow ADOS, Bryant Jones, then my attedence was strongly suggested by my friend Ricci Neer. I have not missed an AIMEN event for almost a year. This event is attended by some of the most real, genuine people I have met in my 30+ yrs in business. This group gathers each and every month, has fun, shares resources, beverages and truly helps their fellow entreprenures without condition. David and Michael, you have created the best unconditional environment for seasoned IM profesionals as well as newbies to flourish. My hat is off to you and I owe a large part of my new direction in life to AIMEN.

I’m blushing, Darcy. Means a ton to us to know that you get so much value. We are actually working on some more cool ideas on how to do even by way of adding value and some structure and continue increasing the quality of our speakers (which is tough!). We may even reach out to some of our “regulars” for feedback, ideas and even some “volunteer” opportunities. Looking to create a stronger community, while still keeping things, casual, relaxed, and FUN! Keep your eyes and ears peeled. Oh! and please tweet & FB about this post… Here’s a shortened link: http://bit.ly/clickbankgossip
See you at the next party, Darcy… if not sooner!

So looking forward to our upcoming party, Jon. You are going to CRUSH IT… we are already at almost 100 RSVP’s and it’s still 3 weeks away. As usual, there’ll be folks flying in from around the country. We’ll probably have a ton of ClickBanker fitness peeps (as well as any other smart CB affiliates who want to learn from the man, the myth, the legend himself) in the house.
thanks for all your support, bro!
